The Waking of Kumbhakaran

After the debut, I took an unwanted break from blogging owing to the complexities in life. So, I have tried to come up with something new to establish myself into the world of Blogging.

So..here we go...

The Waking of Kumbhakaran

The State of Flickering Eyes..
Overhead sun shining bright
Refusal of the tired mind
Losing conscious again...

Tortoisical mind racing for vigour
Forecasting barrels, Dreaming Bonker
Lasting just a Mayfly's lifetime,
Finishing behind, the very starting line.

Unconquered territories, unfulfilled challenges
Stillness of the eyebrows, off the very scales
We've become the brothers of Kumbhakaran,
Dreaming big, of being the Karan.

Meaning:-

It all begins with the morning light. Waking up in the morning everyday, my eyes flicker for a few seconds, so does my mind, just to get closed off again. The powerful infra red radiations don't seem to possess enough wavelength and energy to penetrate deep into my conscience, and hence, I behave like a mirror, reflecting all, taking none.

As my consciousness competes with the speed to that of a tortoise, I try filling myself up with the 'Josh'(Passion), so that I could end up doing something useful in the day. Thereby, I think of what great things I could do today and count the obstacles that may arise in my way. But,this feeling lasts for just a Mayfly's lifetime(Mayfly's have the shortest life),and yet again, I enter the state of lackadaisicalness(I possess a permanent domicile in this state).

In spite of that, I am unperturbed by challenges in life. The neurons in my brain are programmed to remain in the 'State of Coolness'(another domicile)under any condition of pressure (Please verify this by a Barometer). Its quite often, that you see two States fighting over matters such as sharing of natural resources, funds from the centre, etc, and astonishingly, my own two states ( Lackadaisical state and state of Coolness) usually have an altercation over each other's domination power over me. The game between them usually hangs in balance as they are the fundamental units of my inner being. For a better understanding of the last paragraph, please watch Ramayana and Mahabharat in detail.

P.S. I don't intend to degrade or praise myself through my blogs. They are just a set of emotions/unknown activities which everyone goes through everyday in a life. I just try to bring them out via internet technology.

  1. You're quite the wordsmith Mr Bhalla.
Had to lookup a fitting word to describe you - sesquipedalian .
The Kumbhkaran should wake up from his deep sleep and ask the Karan to show us more of this grandeur.
